The system

Out from a leading edge design and concept and using the highest guidelines and quality standards, the ISO-SLAB system is an advantageous and easy solution for the construction of an insulated slab-on-grade.

The usage of the ISO-SLAB system is applicable for all types of residential and commercial construction.

The key features and differentiators of the ISO-SLAB system are:

• The use of high density EPS polystyrene components with superior insulating capacity;

• The availability of two reference configurations (12 '' and 14 '') enable to meet load requirements, depending on the nature and type of project;

• The usage of an extension skirt surrounding the perimeter, compared to other construction techniques, enables to significantly increase frost protection;

• Easy assembly of prefabricated components;

• The ability to easily host the required reinforcing steel wire mesh, as required for the considered load, and allow easy integration of additional components for plumbing and heating.

Easy installation

  • The ISO-SLAB system comes with all necessary components, ready for assembly according to the configuration of your project. If necessary, the adjustment of certain components is easily done on site with basic cutting tools.
  • Easy installation of a metal belt perimeter (supplied with ISO-SLAB system) ensures the integrity of the assembly and provides a mechanical connection between the modules of the perimeter.
  • The components included are lightweight and easy to handle therefore, requiring a minimum of manpower, both for the reception and for installation of the ISO-SLAB system.
  • The implementation of the ISO-SLAB system only requires basic knowledge on standard construction techniques. In addition, the ISO-SLAB system includes a detailed guide to the various stages of preparation and installation.

Origin

With the increasing demand for buildings without foundations, the search for better performing and leading-edge building techniques and over 30 years of experience in the construction field by its founder, the ISO-SLAB system was designed, developed and perfected with the input and cooperation of an engineering firm and a leading polystyrene manufacturer.

To adequately meet the demands of different projects either residential or commercial, two configurations delivered in a kit were developed.

The ISO-SLAB system allows to build differently without foundations, a high efficiency insulated slab-on-grade, at lower costs and within a reduced timeline.

The use of the ISO-SLAB system with its superior insulation and optimal use of thermal mass, is ideal for projects with radiant floor.
